May's Monthly Mantra: I Am Always Aware of What I Feed.
As the old tale goes, one evening an old Cherokee Indian told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He
said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false
pride, superiority, and ego." "The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, forgiveness, serenity, humility, kindness, compassion, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, and faith."
The grandson thought about this battle and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?" The old Cherokee replied, "The one you feed." There is a huge body of evidence
indicating the importance of nurturing our beliefs and thoughts daily so they support and not sabotage us. If we carry around erroneous beliefs and sabotaging thoughts, we feed the
Evil wolf and energetic blocks and internal conflicts are created which lead to illness and disease. But if the Good wolf is fed and nourished daily with ample
doses of love, foregiveness, benevolence, and joy, we open up a space where we can manifest our heart's desires and multiply the benefits in our world.
Are you aware of the beliefs and thoughts you feed? Which do you nurture daily?
